For the first 2 categories there are strong limitations:<\/strong><\/p>\n
- \n
- Active principle up to 29 ppm (General Public only);<\/li>\n
- Use of the authorized product only in and around buildings;<\/li>\n
- Use of the rodenticide bait for 35 days;<\/li>\n
- Mandatory use of the bait station;<\/li>\n
- Small size bait point.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
IPM – INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT<\/h2>\n

<\/p>\nThe figure of the TRAINED PROFESSIONAL<\/strong> assumes greater importance: it is a competent technician who is required to act by making a RISK ASSESSMENT<\/strong>. It must set up an INTEGRATED STRATEGY<\/strong> for the control of rodents, where the use of the poisoned bait is just one of the steps to take.<\/p>\n

- evaluate alternatives without anticoagulants to eliminate rodents TRAPS<\/strong> and \/ or GLUE TRAPS<\/strong>;<\/li>\n
- evaluate interventions to modify the habitat of rodents and therefore make the place less suitable for dens prevent access to food and water, remove easily accessible food sources, close any holes;<\/li>\n
- carry out an EVALUATION<\/strong> of the species that infests the area, verify the places of activity (nests, tracking patches) and the ENTITY OF THE INFESTATION to ADJUST THE DOSES NECESSARY TO THE FUTURE TREATMENT<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

The frequency of visits to the treated area is at the discretion of the operator, in view of the inspection conducted and the data collected. However, the law requires these measures:<\/p>\n

- Mus musculus inspect the containers every 2-3 days at the beginning of the treatment, then at least once a week;<\/li>\n
- Rattus norvegicus e Rattus rattus inspect the containers every 5-7 days at the beginning of the treatment, then at least once a week<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
The product must NOT<\/strong> be used after 35 days WITHOUT an assessment of the status of the infestation and<\/strong>
treatment efficacy.<\/strong><\/p>\nPERMANENT BAIT<\/h2>\n
In the case of sites with high potential for re-invasion and where it is demonstrated that all other methods of control are insufficient<\/strong> use of the permanent bait is permitted.<\/p>\n

- Food industries, waste storage, storage of food raw materials, etc.<\/strong><\/li>\n
- Only using the bait station by placing it at the entrance to potential nests or in the immediate surroundings of buildings<\/strong><\/li>\n

A major poisoned bait ingestion does NOT lead to a faster death! The pulsed bait treatment consists in placing the bait inside the bait station and repositioning it only once again after 3-7 days.<\/p>\n
